We will take him in Vancouver in a heartbeat. He is a massive upgrade on Tom Sestito and Dale Wiese.

He really can play the part of a great pest. I remember one game against Tampa Bay where all four power plays that the Canes enjoyed that game were drawn by Chad Larose. He excelled in getting under the skin of Lecavalier.

As a long time fan of Rosey, I appreciate a postive article about him for once. You hit the nail on the head with this blog Matt . RoseyNeverQuits.com

I find it quite ironic, when (in a year where you listed a need for an improved penalty kill player, or three) Larose is leaving the team, and we have to replace his skillset! Were he to be brought back for just that purpose, it wouldn't be the worst move JR ever made, IMO! I know that's probably not a popular opinion, but WE NEED PENALTY KILLERS!

I couldn't agree more. I remember how excited he was last season to get going after the lockout. For some reason (maybe age), things just didn't take off for him. I think he was one of those veterans that needed a training came and preseason games to get going and it never happened. At this point he could probably be had real cheap on a 1 year deal. Why not?

Top 5 worst moves made by JR:

5. Signing Tomas Kaberle
4. Letting Seidenberg walk
3. Firing Lavi
2. Bringing Corvo back multiple times
1. Bringing Mo back

Great article! Quite often the small things players are willing to do to make the team successful are either overlooked or they go unrecognized.
